Family Commission — Regional Bishops' Council of the North
The Family Commission of the Regional Bishops' Council of the North (RBCN) works closely with the CCBI Family Commission and supports the Family Commissions in the Northern dioceses. It partners with dioceses, religious congregations, and lay family groups to promote family ministry across the four dioceses of Delhi, Jalandhar, Jammu-Srinagar, and Shimla-Chandigarh.
The Commission encourages pastoral programs such as marriage preparation, enrichment for couples, parenting formation, and fostering family spirituality through prayer and visits. Special care is given to families in difficulty and to vulnerable members, including the elderly, single parents, broken families, and people with special needs.
